Using A Tracfone Prepaid Cell Phone

My husband has a nextel phone provided by his job.  So that left me with no phone for myself.  I did not want to sign some big longterm contract for fear that I would end up paying monthly fees but never using the phone.  For my birthday my husband went out and got me a Tracfone Prepaid Cell Phone.  He explained that I just bought my minutes as I needed them and that I had not long term contracts to sign or deal with.  As long as I used the phone and kept it active all was well with the world.  I have to say, after a few months I have really begun to love my new phone.  In fact, I think of reasons to call people just so I can use the phone!

My husband told me that he had reviewed other prepaid phone programs and he found that the Tracfone Prepaid Cell Phone had the best program and offered the best price for the minutes.  with the purchase of an airtime card I had plenty of minutes, free call waiting, and free caller ID, plus my phone had texting, which was all new to me.  Never having been much of a typist i thought that I would never want to text but really it is very easy and convenient.  When I am in a quiet place all I have to do is send a text.  My phone is light weight and easy to use.  I have since looked online at the other available phone models and some are very appealing but for now I will stay with the Tracfone Prepaid Cell Phone that my husband purchased for me.

I did notice that Tracfone offers a phone with a program for double minutes for life.  If I become the big phone person that I seem to be becoming I may have to go down that road.  All of the phones and models were terrific and the airtime card is inexpensive and easy to use.  I keep and extra on hand just in case I need one.  As a person who has never been much of a phone user this new Tracfone Prepaid Cell Phone  has opened me up to the freedom of having a cell phone and feeling like I am in charge of my minutes and the program and phone that I choose.  I am never going back...
